Baccarat Squeeze by Evolution Gaming is a classic baccarat variant, in which the dealer gradually reveals face-down cards, thus adding the element of fun, anticipation and surprise to the gameplay.

Baccarat card squeezing

In a regular baccarat game, a dealer initially deals two face-up cards both to the Player and the Banker. In this game, the cards are dealt face-down and the dealer then reveals them one by one, turning them over slowly and showing only small sections. The manner in which the cards are revealed depends on the bets placed in the round; the dealer first squeezes the cards with the biggest total bet and then opens the remaining hand. It is worth noting that card squeezing does not have any impact on the outcome of the round; this is just an old tradition that adds tension and suspense.

The camerawork in the game is amazing since every gaming aspect is captured from various angles and distances. One camera zooms in during the squeezing phase, then another camera shows the dealer from a different angle, then the third camera gives a close-up view of the dealer’s hands and the cards; and all of these is delivered in a television quality, with high-definition video and crisp sound. Game rules and side bets

Card squeezing is just a technique for revealing cards that has no impact on general baccarat rules and payouts. The aim of the game is to predict which hand will score closest to 9. Along with the standard Player and Banker bets that pay out even-money (minus 5% on the winning Banker bet), and the Tie bet that pays 8 to 1, players are allowed to place the Pairs side bet. The Player Pair wins if the first two cards dealt on the Player spot are a pair and, similarly, the Banker Pair wins if the first two cards on the Banker hand comprise a pair. If either is the case, the payout is 11 to 1.

Scoreboards and bet statistics

There are five standard scorecards in the game that record the results of all rounds in the current 8-deck shoe. The bet statistics under the video feed screen displays the number of players who have placed bets on each betting area and the total amount (in cash and percentage) placed on each area. The bet statistics is easily hideable under the Setting menu.
